THE ANNUAL CARIBBEAN
MULTINATIONAL BUSINESS CONFERENCE “ FROM POTENTIAL TO POWER ”
The Caribbean Multinational Business Conference (CMBC)
is the most influential meeting of its kind, creating
opportunities for commercial linkages between the United
States and the Caribbean in areas of common economic
interest.
In today's a global economy, the value and importance of
the Conference are increasingly evident. The trending
demographics, trade, technology, geopolitics and
evolving financial markets are ripe for new business
ventures throughout the Caribbean. Overseas markets
generate 75 percent of the world’s gross domestic
product. China, India and Brazil have been the biggest
beneficiaries heretofore. But doing business in those
countries is becoming increasingly costly, and many U.S.
corporations are looking for new markets.
Logistically, and given their English-speaking
populations, a number of proactive Caribbean countries
are positioning themselves as first-choice nations among
emerging markets in North, Central and South America as
well as Africa. A strategic alliance between
entrepreneurs and enterprises in urban and emerging
markets of the U.S. and the developing economies of the
Caribbean, Latin America and Africa will be key to any
real growth in the Western Hemisphere.
There's no dearth of areas of common interest, common
problems, creative solutions and collaborative
opportunities, from health care to hair care to food and
fashion to education, communication, technology and
entertainment. This market and the need for products and
services are huge. The Caribbean Multinational Business
Conference identifies and links businesses with these
opportunities. Over the past fifteen years, the CMBC has
cultivated vital connections in the Caribbean and Latin
America and has brokered relationships for numerous
organizations and enterprises. Opportunities abound.
The Mission
It is the mission of the Conference to bring together
businesses, communities and leaders at all levels
interested in understanding the economic opportunities
developing in the Caribbean and Latin American
marketplaces and to link the economic power and
potential of emerging markets in the U.S. with
opportunities in the developing economies of the
Caribbean and Latin America.
Participation
Convened annually in one of these emerging markets, the
conference offers a dynamic and energized experience
from which participants can expect results. These
meetings have cultivated business-friendly regional
policies and accounted for partnerships, new projects,
joint ventures and investments of more than three
billion dollars.
